What is an Intensive Outpatient Program?
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured and comprehensive form of outpatient addiction treatment that provides individuals with a higher level of care and support compared to traditional outpatient therapy. IOPs are typically designed for individuals who require more intensive treatment than regular outpatient counseling but do not need the round-the-clock care provided in residential or inpatient programs.
English Mountain’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) is led by Master’s level clinicians who are dedicated to helping our clients find lasting recovery. IOP is recommended for people in recovery who have already completed a residential program or who have a strong support system and do not currently need a live-in program.
IOPs can be an effective option for individuals with substance use disorders, providing them with the tools, support, and guidance they need to achieve and maintain sobriety while continuing to meet their daily responsibilities.
